I grew up in Dickinson, North Dakota with my parents and one older brother. I have two dogs that I love very much. I graduated from Trinity High School, a Catholic School where I was able to grow in faith and have continued growing in it at the University of Mary. Faith has played a big role in my life since I was little and I am thankful I am able to continue exploring this part of my life.
During my free time, I love to travel, be outside at the family farm working with the cows, hiking, hunting, fishing, water and snow skiing, swimming, hammocking, or other fun outdoor activities. I also enjoy painting, drawing, and spending time with my family and friends.
I have been a nanny for the neighborhood children until graduating from high school and led me to pursue a career in education. The moment I knew I wanted to be a teacher was when I started working at a Daycare Center during my first year at the University of Mary where I taught the children something new. I instantly became excited for them when they had their "ah ha moment" and I knew I wanted to to this for the rest of my life. I am excited to see where this career path leads me after graduation and I know this is the right path for me. My favorite part about working with children is seeing their light bulb come on when they learn something new. The smile on their face brings me joy because I know that they are going to succeed. After graduation, my goal is to teach between the grades of Kindergarten to Third Grade.
